OUR VALUES
-
We prioritize the quality of the working environment
Developing, owning, and renting buildings relies on excellent people relations. SLE’s focus on the industrial / skilled trades sector means that, for most people, our buildings are an essential part of their daily working experience. That is why we give a lot of importance to user Health & Safety and to meeting local Swiss and NEL standards.
-
We work with local networks
We work with local businesses as we believe in the importance of being integrated into a social and professional network and consider our tenants as our primary partners. We choose partners who are registered with a collective labour agreement which unites employers and workers with robust Health & Safety regulations and agreed rules on salaries.
-
We support outsourced employees’ working environment
We have developed an SLE-specific terms and conditions statement which requires our subcontractors to be registered as signatories to a collective labour agreement. This means that the employees are paid according to a salary level which respects agreements between employer and employee unions. This also means employees are properly trained to cope with current safety and environmental regulations.
-
We support Nature
We support nature by insisting on the use of organic products, responsible behaviour and respect for the environment. Our business card also carries the image of honey Pots from a locally produced and fully socially responsible source. The hives are made by prison inmates in rehabilitation programmes, and the pots are packed and dispatched by people in social rehabilitation projects.
Swiss Land Estates SA (SLE) is a Swiss company domiciled in Geneva, and reports directly to Northumberland Estates Ltd.
